The exchange rates of the US dollar against the pound witnessed stability in banks at the beginning of trading on Wednesday 12-11-2024, with the average exchange rate recording 49.56 pounds for purchase and 49.66 pounds for sale.

The Central Bank issued a decision to allow the exchange rate to be determined according to market mechanisms, and unifying the exchange rate is considered a very important measure, as it contributes to eliminating the accumulation of demand for foreign currency following the closing of the gap between the official and parallel market exchange rates.
